About After-School Program
At Bite of HOPE, we believe that lifelong health starts early. In partnership with Alief ISD, our After-School Culinary Program brings hands-on cooking and nutrition education into schools, helping students build confidence and develop a healthier relationship with food.
Through engaging, hands-on experiences, students learn to prepare simple, nutritious meals, build foundational kitchen skills, and explore a variety of fresh ingredients. They also take home recipe cards, empowering them to become “health ambassadors” who share what they have learned and inspire healthier habits within their families.
